More than 50 Oxford Academy club presidents went on strike on March 6 after weeks of dispute with Inter Club Council (ICC). Their union, the Club Presidents Association (CPA), said the strike is a result of unsafe working conditions and poor management from ICC leaders.

The CPA took to BAND to announce the strike with a fiery post titled "OUR 95 THESES: WHY WE'RE DONE WITH ICC." In the post, the union claimed ICC commissioners Yaoi Yamachiqua and Nicolini Nee would mistreat presidents who didn't comply with their "egregiously strict standards" of submitting meeting minutes and agendas. The CPA alleges that Yaoi and Nicolini would "ferociously berate" the presidents with "nasty, snide remarks" about their personal appearances.

"When I forgot to submit the minutes in December, Nicolini said I was built like a bus driver," TPUSA Club President Erichuzz Klirk said on Truth Social. "And Yaoi was even meaner. She said I looked like 'Marilyn Monroe after she ate Lizzo.'"

ICC has refused to negotiate with the presidents. On March 7, Yaoi and Nicolini issued a joint statement on TikTok claiming that the presidents were attempting to defame them.

"The presidents can throw a fit and strike but at the end of the day, their clubs can't function without us." they said in the statement. "Those rats will come scurrying back to us soon enough."

On Mar. 9, the presidents picketed outside of ICC advisor Mrs. Fang's room, where council meetings are typically held. Several Oxford Academy students and staff members joined in support of the picketers, including AP Amish Language Sensei Susie-san.

"I'm here to show my support for the students and their fight for equality. Si se puede!" Sensei Susie-san said.

The picket later became violent, however. When Yaoi reportedly asked the angry picketers to "calm down," Baddies Club President Tika Petal struck her from behind. The two ran an intense fade, and when campus security officer Carmelita tried breaking the fight, Tika ran a fade with her, too. Tika was later arrested on two counts of aggravated assault.

"I mopped the floor with both of them," Tika said from her jail cell.

Now four weeks into the strike, the heated rivalry between ICC and the club presidents has intensified, especially on social media. Hashtags #cancelICC and #InterCorruptCouncil have trended worldwide on X, receiving attention from internet personalities like Claviculur and Ashy Trevino.

While most frustration has been directed toward the council's leaders, some presidents have criticized Oxford administrators for failing to address the mistreatment.

"They could easily disband the council and put an end to our misery. But I guess they're too busy dresscoding kids and handing out detentions to care about us," OA Furries Club President Furriana said.

However, Principal Dallas says the presidents and ICC should settle the dispute without mediation from administrators.

"Honestleigh, that's not our problem," the Southern Belle said. "Y'all need to pick yourselves up by the bootstraps and fight back. Ain't no one gon' do it for you."

As a result of the strike, Oxford clubs have halted meetings entirely. Nevertheless, the presidents remain adamant in resolving the dispute and returning to their jobs.

"I lowkirkenuinely need to clock back into work. Unemployment does not look good on me," AI Fruit Love Island Fan Club President Cherrita Nguyen said. "I hope Yaoi and Nicolini come to their senses and start listening to their presidents."
