Japan vs. Vietnam: Shymko siblings face off against TenZ and JasonTheWeen, (Collage by kenmafangirlOwO).

Alongside the dispute within the Union of Social Scheming Redditors (USSR), Japan showcased its strong sense of nationalism through two consecutive victories against Vietnam, securing its position as a senpai of the globe. The tension between the nations was made public on Feb. 8, 2026, after Japanese Prime Minister Kyedae announced a violent breakoff from Vietnamese Prime Minister TenZ, following a four-year alliance. A day later, Kyedae's younger sister, Sakura, led a nuclear weapon launch against Vietnamese government official JasonTheWeen's residence.

On Aug. 16, 2022, Keydae and TenZ had officially announced their partnership via X (Twitter) to the global audience. It was mutually beneficial — Japan would fund Vietnam's Valorant industry as long as Vietnam sanctioned Japanese healthcare's cancer research department. Throughout the partnership, both countries had shown nothing but pure loyalty to one another, setting an example for other alliances around the world.

Consequently, the decision to end the contract sparked numerous debates and backlash throughout the digital world, especially against Japan.

"Toward the end of our alliance, we came to a realization that wasn't easy to accept: we had stopped developing as individual countries," said Kyedae. "There was no wrongdoing, no resentment, and no single event that caused this."

Despite her claims of a mutual agreement to end the alliance, the Japanese navy was reported to have attacked several Vietnamese ports, sinking ships and destroying resources.

While not central to the TenZ-Kyedae alliance, JasonTheWeen was also a prominent figure in this conflict, maintaining strong diplomatic ties with TenZ and frequently appearing in joint public briefings. His connection to Sakura had showcased professional cooperation, likely with the ultimate goal of maintaining a stable relationship to pursue national interests through global image.

However, Sakura's brutal nuclear attack against Vietnam completely shattered what was left of her association with JasonTheWeen.

"I could see the explosion all the way from my home in China," said an anonymous witness. "It was unlike anything I'd seen before — worse than Hiroshima and Nagasaki."

The ongoing tension between Japan and Vietnam further frames the broader context of the conflict in Asia, especially inside the USSR. Originally formed as a peaceful coalition dedicated to analyzing global conflict with academic-level over-interpretation, the USSR has now become a ground zero for the South Korea vs. #SEAblings subreddit crisis.

After die-hard South-Korean DAY6 fans violated venue rules at a concert by bringing prohibited professional cameras, the Southeast Asian coalition (#SEAblings) declared war on South Korea. This full-scale trench warfare centers on debates of cultural influence between amateur historians and sourcing of "trust me bro."

With the Japan-Vietnam conflict added onto Asia's USSR conflict, the world has greater things to worry about than unemployment, larping, or being a chud.
